Here At Southern Tier Outfitters We Put Together The Best Pedigree To Ensure We Have The Best Calves Possible, We also Do Single Sire Mating, They Are Tagged After Birth To Ensure Positive Match To The Cow, We Leave Them On There Mothers Until They Are Consuming Our Custom Feed, Then We Deworm, Vaccinate, And Put Them In A Fresh Pen By Themselves So That They Do Not Have To Compete For Feed. And Boy Do They Grow Fast.......

We had a good breeding season this year.  They are all healthy and growing quickly.  This is one of the most exciting times of the year here on the farm, watching the little ones grow while the bulls grow thier beautiful antlers

(This is Rose & Lilly playing while we clean their pen.....we are bottle feeding them. It is believed that having a bottle feed cow in a herd brings a calming effect to the herd making it easier to move and handle.)

 NOTE: These are still wild animals with wild instincts and can never be completely tamed.
